Compact and universal signal distribution

The new PT 2,5-2MTB Push-in terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact have two disconnect zones. In conjunction with the three double function shafts, they enable a wide range of distribution applications to be realised in a small space. Compared to a standard disconnect terminal block, Phoenix Contact says the compact PT 2,5-2MTB reduces the length of the terminal strip by half.

The new knife-disconnect terminal block is primarily used in wind turbines, in switchgear building, in process engineering and in machine building for complex signalling tasks. It currently serves the cross-section range from 0.14 to 4.0 mm. The disconnect zones enable multiple bridging and testing tasks to be performed in one terminal block. In addition, each terminal block has its own test pick-off. The coloured disconnect knives and actuating push buttons provide a good overview.

The PT 2,5-2TGB disconnect terminal block is also available to match the knife-disconnect terminal block for use with plug-in fuse and device plugs. This terminal block also has two disconnect zones.
